a blog dedicated to everything related to the talented bollywood actress and worlds most beautiful aishwarya rai.

Ragini is very special to me. She is very different from the characters I have played before. Playing Ragini was physically and mentally challenging. We were shooting for both, the Hindi and Tamil versions simultaneously so I had to keep switching between Hindi and Tamil. It was a unique experience for me as an actor. What I loved about Ragini is that she is a classical dancer. I too have learned classical dancing. But yeah I have never been abducted (she laughs). Ragini is a strong woman who has faith that her husband Dev will save her from Beera. Meanwhile, she also discovers this bad man Beera and multiple facets of his persona.

Day 2 - Jodha teaches Akbar some Hindu customs.

Her subtle of way of teaching him is quite funny because he doesn’t really understand until she shows him or explicitly tells him what to do.

With each film, I get more and more involved and it’s more and more time-consuming. Also, I like to break myths and people’s preconceived ideas. My characters have always stood for something, have always had an opinion, although they’ve never really rebelled.”
